HIFU Face & Body
iBeautify Skin Tightening Treatment
HIFU facial uses ultrasound to create heat at a deep level in the skin. This heat damages targeted skin cells, causing the body to try to repair them. To do this, the body produces collagen to aid in cell regrowth. Collagen is a substance in the skin that gives it structure and elasticity.
Nonsurgical ultrasound treatments such as HIFU can
The type of ultrasound that this procedure uses is different than the ultrasound used for medical imaging. HIFU uses high energy waves to target specific areas of the body.
tighten the skin on the neck
reduce the appearance of jowls
lift drooping eyelids or eyebrows
smooth wrinkles on the face
smooth and tighten chest skin
HIFU Facial Treatment Procedure
Your HIFU facial rejuvenation or neck lift treatment begins by cleaning the chosen area and then applying a gel. We use a handheld device that emits the ultrasound waves in short bursts. Each session typically lasts 30–90 minutes.
Some people report mild discomfort during the treatment. We can apply a local anaesthetic before the procedure to minimise this.
Unlike other cosmetic procedures, including laser hair removal, HIFU does not require any preparation. When a session is over, there is also no recovery time, which means that people can get on with their daily activities after receiving HIFU treatment.
People may require between one and six sessions, depending on the results they want to achieve.
HIFU is best for:-
Improving skin elasticity
Shaping and tightening the facial contours
Lifting the eyebrows
Lifting and tightening the neck and décolletage
Defining the jawline
Improving the surface layer of the skin
Smoothing fine lines and wrinkles
Targeting stubborn fatty areas
Which areas can be treated?
Neck: Loose skin and wrinkles
Forehead: Heavy lines and eyebrow lifting
Cheeks: Nasolabial folds
Chin: Double chin and jowls.
Eyes: Crow’s Feet
Q. When will I see results? How long will the results last?
A. usually you can see a significant lifting result after one treatment, but as your skin continues its natural ageing process, you may want to schedule additional treatments to maintain initial results. A course of 2-3 treatments can last about 3 years.
HIFU Skin Tightening
If your main problem is sagging and your ultimate goal is “lifting” effect it might be a better idea for you to go for HIFU. The depth of its tissue tightening will allow for more prominent results. Thus, HIFU will be the best choice for tightening loose skin around the jowls, improve the appearance of a double chin or “lifting” the brows.
Expected results of HIFU skin tightening Initial tightening of the skin can be seen immediately after treatment, and it continues gradually over time. This means that with just one treatment, the regenerative process is initiated but its full results will unfold over the course of 2-3 months.
HOW HI-FU WORKS
Intensity Focused Ultrasound (Hi-Fu) works by focusing ultrasound in a very specific and controlled way so that only at the point of focus is there sufficient heat generated to achieve the desired therapeutic effect. This ability to precisely control the location of the treatment area in all 3 dimensions is an important differentiation between Hi-Fu and other ultrasound or radio frequency treatments.
As the energy passes through the epidermis it is unfocused and has no discernable effect. At the focal point the ultrasound beam can readily produce temperatures in excess of 50C for the breakdown of fat or 65-70C for the generation of new collagen in the skin.
