How Anti Wrinkle Injections Work

Botulinum Toxin is a prescription only medicine, so you must have a consultation with my licensed nurse prescriber, prior to treatment. An appointment will be made at the time of booking treatment.

A very fine needle is used for the injection(s) and generally the treatment is not painful and can be administered without anaesthetic. For nervous patients we use ice to numb the skin and reduce bruising.

Effects of Anti Wrinkle Injections

The temporary side effects of the procedure should only last a few days and may include swelling, bruising and redness/tenderness.

You will start to see the effects of your anti-wrinkle treatment after 2 or 3 days. The full effects may be judged after 2 to 3 weeks and typically last a few days and may include swelling, bruising and redness/tenderness.
